Lead with your heart

One fundamental life lesson that we learn at a young age is that we are all unique. There is no one in this world that is exactly like you. This begs the question….why waste time trying to be like everyone else? Why would you try to fit in with crowds?

We lose our unique identity in the process of “fitting in”. Staying true to ourselves doesn’t mean that our interest will always be unique. It means that we will have similar interest as others. It’s expected because we draw from our experiences that we go through growing up which we share alot of similarities so we end up liking or enjoying alot of the same things. Therefore, there is no need to follow what everyone else is following for the sake of fitting in. There are plenty of people out there that like the things that you like.

Follow your own instinct, your heart, your intuition, your inner voice, your inner child. Be proud of where you come from because everything that was part of your past contributed to create who you are today and who you will become tomorrow. We are all unique although we all share similar interest. We just need to become less afraid of putting our own unique twist to what brings us joy.

Lead with your heart, it already knows what makes you happy.  😊
