About Project Ramos

Useful tech, tested in the real world.

I’m Adrian Ramos, a digital creator who tests useful and unusual technology, documents the work behind it, and shares what is actually worth knowing. Tech reviews, DIY builds, homelab and maker projects remain at the center of Project Ramos. Music, DJing, audio engineering, and live production are connected parts of the same ecosystem—more ways to put the gear, workflows, and ideas to work.

Test first. Recommend second. Build always.

Why projects

Every result has a process

I call them projects because the finished review, build, stream, DJ set, or audio release is only one part of the story. Each one starts with a question and moves through research, choosing the right tools, building a workflow, testing, revising, and documenting what worked. Project Ramos is where those connected processes—and the useful lessons inside them—stay visible.

How I review

Hands-on before conclusions

Recommendations come from practical use, clear criteria, and direct disclosure. The goal is to explain where a product works, where it falls short, and who it is actually for.

Tech, DIY & builds

Technology put to work

Product testing connects directly to homelab, mobile, studio, DIY, and maker builds. Showing the setup, tradeoffs, revisions, and long-term use gives each recommendation real context.

Music technology & audio

A production perspective since 1992

DJing has been part of my life since 1992, and it still shapes how I evaluate sound, software, performance tools, and emerging music technology. Recording, mixing, and mastering projects are less frequent today, but audio engineering remains part of how I work. I continue to follow the field, test modern workflows, and produce the right projects when they come along—including work connected to the Vibration Alchemy Project.

Video production & live streaming

The whole system working together

Cameras, lighting, audio, networking, software, and audience interaction all have to work as one system. Reviews, live demonstrations, Shorts, and the unified Community chat show both the finished result and the decisions behind it. Live DJ sets will be a regular part of that mix, bringing decades of music experience into the same hands-on technology workflow.
