In this video, I share a product recommendation for iPhone creators — the SmallRig FilMov photography and video phone case.

After using it for a few days, I can confidently say this is a case I actually want to keep on my phone, not just something I attach temporarily when using lenses or accessories.

If you’re into mobile photography or iPhone video, this case gives you a much more reliable way to mount lenses and accessories compared to traditional clip-on mounts.

What makes it interesting is the threaded lens mount system, which allows you to attach accessories like wide-angle lenses, filters, and other gear securely.

And the best part? There’s no vendor lock-in.

You can use lenses and accessories from different brands as long as they support:

• 17mm threaded lenses
• T-mount accessories

In this video I show:

• The build quality of the case
• The interchangeable mounting plates
• Compatibility with Sandmarc lenses
• MagSafe passthrough
• The built-in kickstand
• Why this is a case I can leave on my phone full time
• How it works for both photography and video setups

If you’re interested in mobile photography or iPhone filmmaking, this is definitely worth checking out.
