Music Culler Privacy Policy

← Music Culler overview

Effective October 3, 2026.

This policy covers Music Culler for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, and its optional Mac Stream Deck integration. Music Culler is provided by Adrian Ramos. Questions: support@projectramos.com.

Your music stays under your control

Music Culler processes the audio files and tags you choose on your device. It does not upload your music to a Music Culler server. The current app includes no advertising, tracking, analytics SDK, or Music Culler account system.

Information stored on your device

The app stores settings, references granting access to selected folders, a library index, and action history used for Undo. It may store playback and waveform cache data. The mobile app may cache selected audio locally for playback from a network or cloud location. Tags and file changes you request are written to your selected files and destinations.

Network and cloud folders

If you select a NAS or cloud-backed folder, your operating system and file provider handle access to that location under their own policies. Music Culler does not ask you to send NAS credentials to its developer.

Optional Stream Deck integration

On Mac, playback metadata and commands are exchanged locally with the installed Music Culler plugin. This can include track names, artists, genre, playback timing, queue information, and status messages. The integration is not required for culling.

Support correspondence

If you email support, your email address, message, and attachments are received through our email service and used only to answer your request. Resolved support conversations are deleted after 12 months unless needed for an ongoing issue or a legal requirement. Please do not send music files, passwords, or server credentials. Contact support@projectramos.com to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Apple services

Apple handles App Store purchases and may provide diagnostics or reports under your Apple settings and Apple’s policies. Music Culler does not receive your payment-card details.

Removing local information

Clear Library unloads the selected library; it does not delete your music or necessarily erase all settings, caches, or action history. Deleting the iOS app, rather than offloading it, removes its local app container. Mac settings and support files can remain after removing the app; contact support for help removing local data.

Uninstalling does not reverse changes to external files, edited tags, moved tracks, or managed Trash folders. Restore wanted tracks and keep backups first.

This website

This policy describes the app. Visiting projectramos.com is also subject to the Project Ramos website privacy policy, including applicable website hosting and cookie practices. The app’s absence of analytics does not mean that the website collects no information.

Updates and contact

Updates will be reflected in the effective date above. For privacy questions, email support@projectramos.com.
